Direct Shipping News
Georgia and Washington, DC Open to Wine Shipments

The state of Georgia recently updated their wine shipping law to remove the provision that prohibited us from shipping direct to consumers because we have distribution in the state. We have completed our paperwork, and are ready to begin accepting orders and memberships. And in a surprise update to their regulations, Washington, DC has recently changed their shipping regulations to allow shipments of up to one case of wine per month to consumers (formerly, they allowed the shipments of no more than one quart, or less than two bottles).
Residents of the state of Georgia and the District of Columbia are now eligible to
order wine or sign up for
VINsider Wine Club membership.
A New 2-Bottle Shipping Tier
In response to a growing number of requests, we have added a new, lower priced shipping tier on the shipment of 1-2 bottles to our existing shipping tiers for 3-6 bottles and 7-12 bottles. We hope this encourages you to give Tablas Creek as a gift! For complete shipping pricing and restrictions

Responsible Direct Shipping
We are thrilled that the U.S. Supreme Court struck down on Monday, May 16, 2005, laws that prohibit out-of-state wineries from shipping to consumers while allowing in-state wineries to do so.
We are working actively to increase the number of states we can ship wine to (and, by the same token open for our wine club). However, we are also committed to protecting our consumers from questionable or unscrupulous shipping practices. We only ship to states to which we are allowed by state law, and we mark our shipments clearly as wine. We use UPS and FedEx to ship our wine, and all shipments require an adult signature. If you live in a non-shipping state, we're happy to help you find local retailers or wholesalers who carry our wine. Want help finding our wines? View our

The current list of states to which we can ship wine is AK, CA, CO, FL, ID, IL, IA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, SC, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY. Interested in knowing as soon as we can ship to you? Sign up for our

Can you help reduce interstate shipping barriers to wine? Why, yes! Key states around the country, including Massachussetts, Illinois, Arizona, Florida and Rhode Island, are writing legislation now. Speak up in favor of free trade now that the Supreme Court has ordered the states to end discrimination against out-of-state wineries!
